I am part of the developer team of the German Zen Cart version and continue to develop this excellent open source e-commerce software that takes into account the legal requirements in German-speaking countries. With this module, payment via Amazon Pay is integrated in the store. Customers can log in directly with their Amazon account and then use the payment method stored in their Amazon account. This module uses Amazon Pay Checkout V2 and supports SCA (Strong Customer Authentication).
Matomo (formerly Piwik) is a widely used open source web analytics platform and an alternative to Google Analytics. It can be set up on your own server (Matomo On-Premise) and all tracking data stays there as well. This module integrates the Matomo tracking code together with advanced e-commerce tracking in your Zen Cart store, so that in your Matomo On-Premise installation not only page views but also details about sales in the store are tracked.
With this module Google Analytics GA4 Tracking can be integrated in the store. If Google Ads is also used, conversion tracking for Google Ads can be optionally activated. To be able to use Google Analytics GA4 DSGVO compliant and EU Cookie Guidelines compliant, a Privacy Policies based Cookie Consent Tool is included, which blocks the corresponding scripts if the use of tracking and targeting has not been agreed.
This module integrates the Sendinblue newsletter system into the store in a DSGVO-compliant manner. Customers who tick the subscribe to newsletter checkbox when registering in the store will receive the double-optin confirmation email from Sendinblue and will be added to your Sendinblue list after clicking the confirmation link. The email address, first name and last name are transmitted.
